Ninjas are a Girl's Best Friend

I have an actual day off!? With no school!? oO Time to play Skyrim!!!!

Ended up painting for most of the evening! It’s not done yet, but I’m very very happy with this random little piece of work so far! I find doing artsy stuff so relaxing.

So last night I ~may~ have started playing skyrim….  on the bf’s xbox…. 

So, first things first, being on a console is really incredibly foreign to me now!  Don’t get me wrong, I used to play the crap out of my PS1/2 back in the day or the N64/GC, etc, but since I started using my PC for everything, I haven’t touched many console games.  So!  The controls took a lot of getting used to.

But moving on!  I made a spiffy Nord who’s going to end up a sort of cleric-style character.  It was incredibly fun too!  I was pwning wolves left, right and center.  Then, I found a horse, and it was awesome.  He was my buddy.  We killed more wolves together, then ran up a hill into the snow.  The bf, at this time, was watching and was all like ‘just get off your horse and fight!  You’re gonna die!” 

I was all… “Hell no!”

He told me that there were guys at the top of these snowy stairs that would kick my ass, so I should get off the horse now, so instead I started inching forward on said horse…  And it drove him crazy!  It was awesome!  Anyways, I said, ‘screw it’, and rode up the stairs with my pal, and we killed all the guys up there with relative ease.  By then, it was late, and I didn’t want to actually go into the snowy building for my quest and instead decided get some sleep, so I said goodbye to my mighty steed and turned the Xbox off.

I miss having a scanner.  I didn’t truly realize how much I depended on it since I started drawing more often again.  :(  I’ll have to obtain another one soon!  In the mean time.. any sketches I post will be via the camera on my phone… which really does not have good quality at all!  So I apologize in advance.  ;)

Exactly!  I’m just here to have fun and share in things that I love with other people who love them.  Luckily, almost everyone I’ve run into on here are amazing people, and you guys have made it a great experience!

I think later today I may actually have to try Skyrim.. oO ♥ video games! But it’s on the Xbox, not my PC.. so we’ll see how it goes… >.>;
